Hello Region
4, Missouri,
The training camp pages have been updated with the hotel
information. Please get your registration information in
asap. I have received a bunch already and we did fill
both camps with wait list last year and expect to do so
again this year. These camps were very helpful in
getting the record breaking year for region 4 underway.

still working on the final selections and hope to have
them narrowed down this weekend.
Training Camps:
Region 4 will now be hosting two optional training camps
this fall. These will be in a very similar format to
last years camps that were very successful and filled
early!
One will be in the northern area of the region and one
will be in the southern area. The southern camp will be
held September 24th through 26th at GymQuarters
Gymnastics in St. Louis. . The northern camp will be
held October 8th through 10th at TAGS South in
Minneapolis.
The camp format will be similar to the old “High
Performance” camp. We will be bringing in paid
clinicians from outside and within the region. We will
assign a master clinician to each event and coaches will
rotate with their athletes to the stations. We do expect
that coaches work with the plan established at the event
by the master staff and are willing to aid the clinician
in the implementation of the plan for that event.
(Spotting the stations, running the kids through the
reps etc.) You could get assigned to a station at that
event but will rotate to the next event with your
athletes. We will be having a coaches/clinicians round
table and social event Saturday night. We will try to
provide an activity for the athletes as well.

attend the training camps. Get signed up early. It will
fill and there is limited space. Hotels will not
be able to be booked until
August 1st.

Logo Contest!
Region 4 is accepting designs for the official log of
Region 4 Gymnastics. The logo will be used on websites
and apparel. This contest is open to anyone! Gymnasts,
coaches parents etc. There will be a nominal prize yet
to be determined. The winner will also be announced and
given credit for his or her work. Please submit the
designs to the state chairs and they will compile them
all and forward to the regional officers.
Region 4 Website!
Region4gymnastics.com is undergoing a
complete overhaul. From a new design to merging all the
info from the 4 current sites into one. We will also be
adding a google calendar, photo gallery, a hall of fame
page, a "fan" page where coaches can upload info about
their teams and of course everything related to
regionals, training camps, rules etc. There will also be
the links to the state and national sites. Please submit
any photos you would like to be included to

Missouri Registration Fee
It is time once again
to register to your athletes in MO. This includes sanctioned
Level 3 - 10 and Prep Opt athletes. The Registration fee of $20.00
per athlete and your registration form need to be sent to
Robert Tillotson
at 216 SE Waterwheel Ln, Lee's Summit, MO 64063.

PLEASE DO NOT TELL YOUR ATHLETES THAT THIS MO REGISTRATION FEE IS PART
OF THEIR USAG REGISTRATION FEE. THIS FEE IS A SEPARATE FEE PAID
TO MO FOR THE PURPOSE OF REGISTRATION OF YOUR TEAMS AND ATHLETES.
Deadline for registration of your athletes is October 1, 2010. After this date there
there will be a late fee applied per athlete. If
you have a couple of late additions, that will be taken into
consideration and the late fee may be waived.
A late fee
WILL NOT be waived if a majority of the team is not
registered by the deadline.

Athletes should be registered to compete in any MO Meets.
MO meet directors will be informed of teams that have
not remitted their registration fee prior to their
event. Scores will not count toward State
qualification
for non-registered athletes.
